Environmental Sensitivities

Do certain foods or exposure to chemicals like pesticides, paints, cleaning supplies, scented laundry detergents, perfumes, air fresheners, or car exhaust cause unpleasant reactions or make you feel sick? If you answered yes, there is a good chance you are suffering from environmental sensitivities.

Our environment—the space we inhabit and draw all our sustenance from—has become saturated with a wide range of chemicals and other substances our bodies were not designed to co-exist with. The Children’s Environmental Health Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York points out that since World War II, more than 80,000 new chemicals have been invented, many of them widely dispersed. According to a 2018 article published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, chemical sensitivity has increased more than 300% over the last decade and afflicts more than a quarter of the American population.

I know how debilitating it can be to have common chemical products and pollutants trigger a range of troubling symptoms, since environmental sensitivities are what brought me to energy healing nearly 25 years ago. Over time I was able to clear a very long list of sensitivities with BioSET, and I no longer suffer from them.

When I am working with environmentally sensitive clients, I find BioSET an indispensible tool in relieving this problem. That’s because the protocol is designed to pinpoint what the client is reacting to and then energetically clear it through the meridian system. For that reason, BioSET typically forms the foundation of my work with environmentally sensitive clients. You can read more about BioSET here.

Environmental sensitivities can also involve other kinds of energetic dysfunction, which can be identified and released with The Body Code and EFT. Guided by the client’s subconscious via muscle testing, I also use The Body Code and EFT and find them to be powerful additional tools to help relieve this problem.

It would be wonderful if we lived in a truly clean environment without chemical and other contamination. Unfortunately, we don’t. While it is important to reduce our exposures by eating a healthy, organic diet and choosing non-toxic products, often that is not enough. Completely avoiding everyday environmental exposures can be difficult, if not impossible—and certainly very limiting.

The best way I know to be able to function and even thrive in the environment we have is by identifying and clearing the layers of energetic dysfunction that may contribute to environmental sensitivities. This approach worked for me and countless others, and I would be honored to try it with you!
